Creativity has existed here for thousands of years — we're not here to create something new, but to connect what has always been here with new people, ideas and possibilities.

Musik Blok At
WOMAD FESTIVAL
Musik Blok makes its WOMADelaide debut on 7 March 2027, bringing seven emerging artists from across Papua New Guinea to one of Australia's most celebrated world music festivals.
Musik Blok was born from a vision to uncover PNG's extraordinary musical talent and create pathways to the global stage. This special performance marks the first major international showcase of music created during Musik Blok's inaugural songwriting and production LAB in Goroka, where artists collaborated with acclaimed international mentors including Nai Palm, Cazeaux O.S.L.O. and SETWUN.
Featuring Kazibuda, Roz, Tina Kara, MXV, Mr. Whoo, Brendan Lahui and Lamoa of Tora, the performance will see SETWUN return as Musical Director, bringing these exciting new voices and their original music to life on the WOMADelaide stage.

Return from Dingo Festival
Musik Blok joined Dingo Festival for a special panel featuring founder NGAIIRE alongside mentors Nai Palm, Cazeaux O.S.L.O. and SETWUN, sharing stories and insights from the inaugural LAB in Papua New Guinea.
The festival also saw an ambitious vinyl project come to life, with music created and pressed onto vinyl in just three days. Featuring contributions from Frolen Music Library, Clever Austin, Sampology, Cazeaux O.S.L.O, SETWUN, NGAIIRE and Musik Blok artist Kazibuda, the record celebrated the power of collaboration, community and seat of your pants creativity.

LAB MENTORS
Ant Enoch
Berlin based, Sydney solo-artist ANT ENOCH writes anthems for crying on the dance floor. His melodic bedroom pop marries his love for melancholic 1980s dance ballads with contemporary analogue aesthetics. Initially studying at the University in Sydney, he has been part of hugely successful outfit Carãvana Sun for over a decade and has travelled the globe performing to festival crowds in the hundreds of thousands.
Nai Palm
Nai Palm is a 3 x Grammy-nominated artist and frontwoman of Hiatus Kaiyote, renowned globally for her genre-defying songwriting, production and vocal artistry.
Her work has influenced and been sampled by artists like Drake, Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar, cementing her as one of the most respected and innovative voices in contemporary music.
Ariel Blum
A multi-instrumentalist, producer and the founder of GRID Series, a global creative platform connecting artists through collaborative residencies, performances, and cultural exchange. His work focuses on building international networks that bring together musicians from diverse scenes to create new work and cross-pollinate ideas.
Kaiit
Kaiit is an ARIA Award-winning Naarm artist of Torres Strait Islander and Papua New Guinean heritage, known for her soulful fusion of R&B, hip hop and neo-soul.
Her breakout track OG Luv Kush Pt. 2 gained international attention and praise from Alicia Keys and Erykah Badu.
Cazeaux O.S.L.O.
Cazeaux O.S.L.O. is a DJ, beatmaker and rapper rooted in traditional hip hop culture, performing with groups SO.Crates, Man Made Mountain and Sunset Cities, as well as his own solo project.
He has shared stages with icons like Common, Talib Kweli and Madlib, and performed across major festivals including WOMADelaide, Melbourne Jazz Festival and Strawberry Fields.
Airileke (Guest Speaker)
Airileke is a PNG-Australian artist, producer and Artistic Director whose work bridges ancient Melanesian traditions with contemporary sound. A cultural leader and activist, he has directed large-scale Pacific events and collaborated with leading First Nations artists, while using his music to amplify stories of identity, resistance and West Papua’s fight for freedom.
Setwun
Setwun is a Solomon Islander-Australian artist known for a fluid sound shaped by soul, jazz and electronic influences.
Eora-based, with credits including Ronnie Scott’s and support for Kokoroko, Nubya Garcia, DJ Shadow and Chaka Khan.
